Outputs include balanced Stereo Monitor outputs for your studio speakers and two separate Stereo headphone outputs. Each output has it’s own independent level control so everyone in the studio can get exactly the volume they need. |
| Unique features include dual buss monitor architecture and an additional set of stereo inputs and outputs for your computer’s sound card, stereo USB I/O device or digital keyboard with external inputs. This two-buss design provides you with easy one-button switching from zero latency direct input monitoring to DAW output monitoring complete with native effects processing. | |
| If you’re looking for an easy and inexpensive way to expand your system the Matrix X has all the connections you need. |

Recording has always been a tricky endeavor and even when you think you have every permutation of interface, connector, ins and outs, you most likely don’t. What you really need is an XYZ or an ABC… but nobody makes that.
Well the Matrix X (and indeed the Matrix Y) are such things: boxes that’ll save your bacon (if not something even more valuable) on a daily basis in a studio where you are either doing different things, or bringing in different clients, on a fairly regular basis.
Whether it’s adding a microphone or guitar line input to a digital piano or synthesizer with external inputs, or needing two headphone mixes, and many other scenarios, the Matrix-X is simply one of those ‘boxes’ that you thought nobody makes but that really need to have.
